Annual governance report

You can download a copy of our latest annual governance report, covering the audit of the Authority for the year ending 31 March 2011, from the menu on the right.

Our annual governance report covers the audit for 2010/11 and is presented by the District Auditor. The main purposes of the report are:

• to reach a mutual understanding of the scope of the audit and the respective responsibilities of the auditor and the Audit and Governance Committee;
• to share information to assist both the auditor and those charged with governance to fulfil their respective responsibilities; and
• to provide the Audit and Governance Committee with recommendations for improvement arising from the audit process.
