Performance reports

To measure progress against the council's objectives and targets, we use a performance management system. Previously we only published detailed quarterly performance reports but we are now publishing monthly board reports which show the performance of key targets.

The Vale's performance monitoring report looks at the key areas of:

• National indicators
• Local performance targets
• Key staffing data (sickness levels and turnover)
• Financial commentary
