This is a fulltime post on a Permanent contract, working 37 a week.  This post is at Grade 8, with a full time starting salary £42,191-£46,368.

Brief Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join and lead a newly-formed team to help two of the most integrated district councils in the country tackle the important issue of flooding. Using your engineering expertise, you will provide specialist advice on all aspects of flood risk management in the Vale of White Horse Districts in Oxfordshire.

Dealing with a wide range of people, from other engineers and partner organisations to councillors and members of the public, you will be responsible for working to safeguard the district and our communities from flooding. Using and building upon your experience, you will lead this small team in line with the Council’s Corporate Plan to protect and enhance the quality of the district’s built and natural environment.
