Margaret Crick

Chair of Vale of White Horse District Council

At the Annual Meeting of the Council held on 15 May 2019 Councillor Margaret Crick was elected as Chair for the year 2019/20.  She will be escorted by her sons, David and Michael.

Councillor Crick has many years experience as a councillor and has served as a district councillor and on the Abingdon Town Council, including being Mayor of Abingdon during 2018/19.

During her year in office Councillor Crick will be raising funds for Practical Action, a charity that works to elevate poverty in some of the poorest parts of the world and closer to home, the Earth Trust at Little Wittenham.

Cllr Crick's next charity event is an evening of glitz and glamour.  On Friday 1 November, our Chair will be hosting a black-tie dinner to raise fund for her two chosen charities.  Guests are invited to gather at the Guildhall in Abingdon from 7pm for drinks before sitting down to a three course dinner at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost just £50 each and all profits will be shared between Practical Action and Earth Trust.
