Pest control charges

Pest control charges for 2008/09 (from 1 April 2008) are as follows:

All the above fees are inclusive of VAT.

Please note all charges exclude the cost of materials, with the exception of treatments for rats and wasps nests.

A course of treatment will consist of a maximum of four visits (initial visit plus three re-visits).

If the treatment is not successful advice will be given and if further visits are requested a further charge will be made. 

The treatment of rats cannot be guaranteed for periods longer than two weeks after eradication as re-infestations can occur from other areas. Therefore further treatments after the two weeks will be subject to further charge.

Rat control will be free of charge to occupiers of domestic premises in receipt of Council Tax or Housing Benefits.
