Description
Variation of condition 57 on application ref. P02/V1594/O to 'All non-residential buildings, except for the District and Southern Centre Community Buildings, shall be constructed in accordance with specification to be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The specification shall include (but not be limited to) a commitment to build to a BREEAM very good certification, or such equivalent scheme and standard that shall operate at the time of construction of that building. The District and Southern Centre Community Buildings shall be constructed in accordance with a specification to be submitted and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The design and construction of the District and Southern Centre Community Buildings shall as a minimum: (a) achieve energy and emissions ratings which exceed those currently stipulated under the prevailing building regulations standard; (b) achieve an Energy Performance Certificate rating of B; and, (c) be at least 12.5% more efficient in terms of water use (litres per person per day) than minimum levels required by the Water Supply Water Fittings Regulations 1999'. A mixed-use urban extension of 3,300 new dwellings together with associated local shops & services, leisure, open space & community facilities and transport, drainage & utility infrastructure
