Vale Community Sports Network

The Vale Community Sports Network (CSN) is a multi agency partnership committed to promoting and delivering projects and initiatives that encourage physical activity, recreation and sport for all. It was set up to deliver the work of the Oxfordshire Sports Partnership at a local level in the Vale.

The Network looks to use sport and physical activity to address a range of issues with the overall benefit of an improved quality of life for the local community.

It has a diverse action plan and through agencies pooling resources and expertise as well as clear communication, it is hoped that inclusive physical activity will be easily accessible in the Vale of White Horse. The Network's action plan for 2007/08 can be downloaded from the right of the page.

At present the CSN consists of various organisations including:

  • Vale of White Horse District Council
  • Oxfordshire Sports Partnership
  • Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust
  • Thames Valley Police
  • Vale School Sport Partnership
  • Activeten 20
  • Age Concern
  • Oxfordshire Disability Officer
  • Many other local community organisations.
