How to pay your business rates
By Direct Debit
The cost effective way to pay is by Direct Debit. Instalments are taken from your bank or building society account on the 1st of each month. If you already pay by Direct Debit this will be shown on the front of the bill and your payments will continue to be taken from your bank or building society account. If you wish to pay by Direct Debit, please fill in the instruction form attached to the bill and return it to the Business Rates Section. For more details please call 0845 300 2839. We can now set up Direct Debit payments over the telephone saving you the need to complete a paper mandate.
Online
You can pay your Business Rates by visiting our Online Payments page.
Please note: if paying by credit card, an automatic surcharge of 1.72% will be added to your transaction total. No surcharge will be applied to debit card payments.
By cheque in the post
