Snow and ice

Waste collections

If we have bad snow or ice, it may be too dangerous for our waste crews and lorries to complete their normal rounds. If we don't manage to empty your bins, please leave them out for two days after your scheduled collection day and we'll do everything we can to come back and collect it.

We'll post regular updates about any disruptions here on our website - you can also call the Biffa call centre on 03000 610 610 or follow us on Twitter This link will take you to an external website... .

Further advice

For more information about keeping safe this winter please see Oxfordshire County Council's Winter in Oxfordshire This link will take you to an external website... guide.

We've had warnings of snow from the MET Office - if it's particularly bad it may not be safe for our waste lorries and crews to make their usual rounds.

If we don't manage to empty your bins, please leave them out for two days after your scheduled collection day and we'll do everything we can to come back and collect it.

If we don't get back to you, you'll be able to leave extra recycling out beside your green bin in a clear sack or open box on the next day it's due to be emptied, in the week beginning 23 January.
