Noise nuisance

We have investigate noise complaints and take formal action when there is an unreasonable level of noise, which could have a detrimental impact on someone else.

The council operates an out of hours service which responds to serious noise emergencies such as noisy parties, house/vehicle alarms and ongoing noise complaints.

An on-call officer is available Thursday to Saturday and Sundays proceeding a Bank Holiday. The service operates during the evening between the hours of 19:00 to 02:00 of the following morning. If you have an emergency during these hours please call our emergency call centre.
