Householder Prior Notification
This applies where the proposed works are limited to a single-storey rear extension of a depth between four metres and eight metres for a detached house, or between three metres and six metres for any other type of house. You must notify the local planning authority of your intention to use this right. It does not apply to flats or properties within a conservation area or area of outstanding natural beauty.
