How to apply to get a building listed?

Anyone can apply for a building to be listed. If you wish to have a building considered, you should complete the online application form on the English Heritage website. This link will take you to an external website... It will ask you to provide the following information:

• Property address or locational information
• Ownership details
• Details of any current planning application, permission or marine consent
• Any photographs to support your application
• Any documentary evidence to support your application

Decisions to list a building are are taken by the Secretary of State for Culture Media and Sport, on the advice of English Heritage.
