Vale of White Horse Local Plan 2011

The Vale of White Horse Local Plan 2011 was adopted in July 2006 following a public inquiry by an independent inspector. The Plan incorporates the proposed modifications based on the recommendations of the Inspector's Report, which can be viewed and downloaded by following these links:

Until superseded by the Local Development Framework documents, the Local Plan is part of the Development Plan.

Saved Policies

Policies that have been extended from the Oxfordshire Structure Plan 2016 include policy T7 Service areas, policy H2 Upper Heyford and policy M2 Sand and gravel.

With regard to the Local Plan, in a decision dated July 2009, the Secretary of State has directed the further extension of saved policies from the Local Plan. The Adopted Local Plan 2011 can be viewed and downloaded by following the links below - the document has been split into separate chapters for ease when downloading. More details about what is covered in each chapter can be found in the contents section. The Plan should be read in the context of the saved policies referred to above.
