Strategic Flood Risk Assessment

The Vale, together with South Oxfordshire District Council, has commissioned consultants to carry an update to the joint Strategic Flood Risk Assessment of the two districts. This document supersedes the 2009 joint Strategic Flood Risk Assessment and the 2007 Didcot Strategic Flood Risk Assessment.

The Strategic Flood Risk Assessment is a planning tool that will assist the councils in their selection and development of sustainable site allocations away from flood risk areas. It also provides information to aid the production of Flood Risk Assessments where required to support planning applications.
