Sportivate - sport for 11-25 year olds
Sportivate is a national funding stream currently offered by Sport England to get more young people aged 11-25 years old more active. New projects are set up, after consultation with young people, community groups and sports clubs. They run for 6-8 weeks and aim to encourage participants to move more and have fun in a more relaxed sports environment.
If you have a project you would like to deliver that fits the Sportivate criteria including:
- a new project for young people aged 11-25 years.
- ideally targeting women, people with disabilities or the inactive (more funding is available for these target groups).
- has a sustainable exit route after the initial 6-8 week project.
