Parking permits

You can purchase a permit for many of the car parks that we are responsible for in the Vale of White Horse. Please complete the relevant application form which can be downloaded from the right of the page. Then send the completed form, together with the fee, to:

Please note that terms and conditions are applied to the use of any permit, and you should read and understand these before buying a permit.  These can also be downloaded from the right of the page. 

Unless there are special circumstances, monthly permits will be issued from the 1st of the month. Please note there is a £12 fee to cover administration costs in the event of a lost or damaged permit. Refunds can only be made in respect of whole months remaining, and there will be a charge of £10 to cover administrative costs.

Residential permits (proof of residency is required)

Abingdon - Annual residential parking permits are available for the Audlett Drive, the Cattle Market, Rye Farm, Hales Meadow and West St Helen street car parks for £240 and for Queen Street/Market Place for £500. A six-month permit can be bought for the Cattle Market car park for £120. The West St Helens permit is only available for residents of Winsmore Lane, St Edmunds Lane, St Helen Mews, High Street and Lombard Street.

Faringdon - Annual residential parking permits are available for Gloucester Street car park for £100. 

Wantage - Annual residential parking permits are available for the Portway car park for £100. This is for only for available for residents of Church Street, Newbury Street, Market Place and Portway (limited spaces available).

School permits

These are available for the Gloucester Street in Faringdon and Portway in Wantage.  For Portway these cost £10 for ten minutes per school term. For Gloucester Street there is a 20-minute permit for £10 per school term.
