You can work out your home or your organisation’s carbon footprint with the National Energy Foundation carbon calculator and then see the National The Energy Saving Trust website on how to reduce carbon emissions, how to use water more sustainably and how to save money on energy bills.
Avoid single-use plastic bottles by using Refill – the app finds businesses and cafes near you have signed up to the Refill campaign encouraging people to refill a reusable bottle at their premises. You can download an app which shows you the nearest ‘refill station’ participating in the scheme e.g. our building The Beacon in Wantage.
The Government provides practical advice for businesses, including guidance on sustainability and environmental regulations. See its Environmental Impact – guidance for business.
