Description
The proposed house maintains the height of the three storey original cottages with lower extensions. The approach has been to demolish the extensions, and restore and preserve the oldest parts of the building, revealing their original form within a remodeled house. The new house is composed of the old cottages, a two storey high green oak entrance stair hall on the north, which ties together the other extensions to the north east and the west, with a single storey hallway linking the house to a green oak barn like playroom at the west end, which is completed.
