Details of health and wellbeing organisations and facilities available across the district can be found on this page.
There are table tennis tables available to use across the district.
The tables are part of an ongoing initiative to help residents be active and healthy.
The council has been working alongside Table Tennis England, the Didcot Garden Town project team and town and parish councils to part fund the tables.
There are permanent tables in the following outdoor locations::
- Shrivenham, Memorial Hall SN6 8BL
- Kennington, Forest Side playing field, OX1 5LQ
The following locations have tables indoors:
The Southern (OX11 6HQ) and District Community (OX11 6GR) centres on Great Western Park, Didcot – coming soon
Also in Didcot are outdoor tables in the following locations:
- Edmonds Park, Didcot, OX11 8QE
- Ladygrove Park, Tyne Avenue, Didcot OX11 7UL
- Great Western Drive Recreational play area, Didcot, OX11 7PF
All facilities are free to use except the indoor tables where there will be a small charge and you can hire the bats and balls. Residents wanting to use the outdoor tables will need to bring their own bats and balls.

Sport in Mind
Sport In Mind hold a free weekly walk for Mental Wellbeing in Abingdon every Wednesday from 11.30am-12.30pm
The walk is a FREE fun, relaxed group, for people experiencing mental health problems. They meet outside the Malthouse Surgery, Charter, OX14 3JY.
Fun, casual drop-in Badminton and Table Tennis session with coaching for people experiencing
mental health problems. It is run by a qualified coach (Adam), all equipment is provided. The session is open to all and held every Tuesday in Didcot from 2-3pm at Willowbrook Leisure Centre, Bowmont Water, Didcot, OX11 7AF.
