Southvale Building Control provide a complete local authority statutory building control approval service across Vale of White Horse and South Oxfordshire.
We work in collaboration with local builders, architects and agents – and we ensure that every building project achieves approval with the minimum of disruption.
We have temporarily changed the way we process all building control applications. This is because we are following government and PHE advice and, where possible, our staff are working from home.
You can submit your Building Control applications by completing the form at the bottom of the page or email it to email@example.com. Please do not send us paper copy applications, paper representations/comments, cheques or cash as they may not get processed.
We are now taking onsite visits requests and where it is safe to do so we are resuming site inspections. Unfortunately due to the current situation and for the time being we aren’t able to offer same day site inspections and we do request that you contact us by to book an inspection by 3.30pm the day PRIOR to the day the site inspection is required. Where it isn’t possible to carry out an onsite inspection we are trying to accommodate alternative arrangements to maintain the service and if you are continuing to work on site it is important that you contact us so key stages of your building works can be inspected. This will also ensure that we have record of the site works as they progress and we can issue the final completion certificate. For applications received from February 2019 an inspection log issued to the applicant will identify key stages of the building works. If you are unsure what constitute a “key stage” please do not hesitate to contact us.
To book a site visit please call us on 01235 422700 or, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with details of the site address, type of inspection required, your name and very importantly a contact telephone number
