Description
Improve practice facilities at the Cricket Club. Currently have one concrete practice pitch covered in artificial turf (c.40sqm) surrounded by tubular framed net, alongside grass practice pitches. Propose to replace with two artificial practice pitches (c.80sqm) covered in artificial turf using England & Wales Cricket Board approved materials (to improve drainage and consistency) and surrounded by tubular framed net. The current concrete pitch was dug up and the tubular framed net was dismantled at the end of the cricket season as they had fallen into disrepair. As the practice net is adjacent to the football pitch the work needed to be completed prior to football matches starting in September.
