Description
Installation of a pair of French doors to replace the existing window to the Living Room at the rear of the house
Removal of the existing timber framed wall to the existing ground floor WC/cloakroom and strip out plumbing etc.
Remove existing steel beam spanning from the existing WC/cloakroom to the external wall within the existing Living Room and replace with a new steel beam to span the whole depth of the building.
Blocking in of existing doorway to the cloakroom
Form new doorway adjacent to the existing door to the dining room, this utilises a previous door opening and retains the existing Oak lintel which spans both openings Construct a new partition wall within the study to enclose the new WC/cloakroom and shower.
Fit out the new WC and Shower room, including the installation of new foul drainage to connect with existing drain.
Re-hang the existing door to the study to the opposite hand.
