Elections in the Vale

In the Vale local elections, where members are voted onto the District Council, are held every four years. The next local election will take place in May 2011.

Parliamentary elections are not held on fixed dates and can be up to five years apart. The next general election will take place not later than May 2010.

European Parliamentary Elections are held every five years with the next one due to take place in June 2009.
