Your new waste collection service

The Council is introducing a new waste collection service from 4 October to help you recycle more and reduce the amount of rubbish that is sent to landfill. 

One of the main changes is that we are going to start collecting food waste every week, and rubbish and recycling every other week. This will mean one week you put your food waste and rubbish out for collection, and the week after food waste and recycling.

A leaflet introducing the new service has been sent out to all homes in the Vale. This leaflet can be downloaded from the right of the page. If you have not had this leaflet and would like a copy please call 01235 540528.

We will be providing you with new bins to use from October. We have started to deliver the new bins and will be doing so up until late September. To find out when the bins are being delivered to your parish please download the document from the right of the page.
