Do you have nobody around to help you? Call for support - 01235 422600

If you or someone you know has been identified as extremely vulnerable by the NHS and have nobody around to help with day to day tasks like shopping please call 01865 897820 or email shield@oxfordshire.gov.uk.

Anyone that is in this situation but is not considered high risk can call 01235 422600 or email communitysupport@southandvale.gov.uk 

Please note - from Saturday 1 August the government paused the guidance for residents who were shielding - you can find more about this on the government's website. In line with this our Community Support opening times have changed.

From Monday 3 August the Community Support team will be available from: 8.30am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-4.30pm on a Friday.

Homeless or at risk of being homeless?

If you are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless you should contact us as soon as you can.  Our Housing Needs team can help you to find some accommodation, please call them on 01235 422452 or email housing@southandvale.gov.uk

What should I do if I see a person rough sleeping in our districts?

During office hours if you see someone rough sleeping, please call the housing needs team on 01235 422452.

Outside office hours, if you think someone is rough sleeping, please make a report to Streetlink via www.streetlink.org.uk or by calling 0300 5000 914 - Streetlink is the national scheme for reporting rough sleeping and connects rough sleepers to local support services.
