Stanford in the Vale Neighbourhood Plan
Stanford in the Vale Parish Council is working on a neighbourhood development plan. The process gives communities the power to develop a shared vision for their area. Neighbourhood Plans can shape, direct and help to deliver sustainable development, by influencing local planning decisions as part of the statutory development plan. Neighbourhood plans should not promote less development than set out in strategic policies for the area or undermine those strategic policies.
What’s happening now?
The neighbourhood area was formally designated on 4 April 2014.
The parish council has started the process of gathering evidence and engaging with the local community. This is to give the plan a direction and draft policies that will form the neighbourhood plan. If you would like to be involved in the plan making process, please contact the .
