Online system downtime – now complete

We have carried out a major piece o planned essential maintenance work on the council’s IT systems.

All of our systems are now live.

Planning:

Earlier this year, we carried out a major piece of planned essential maintenance work on the council’s IT system. The work of our planning team has been impacted and we still have a backlog of planning applications. We are currently unable to offer a full level of service to customers but are phasing the reintroduction of services.  At present we are working approximately two weeks behind our standard time for processing planning applications. 

We continue to concentrate on the processing of statutory applications and will review the situation again by 15 September. We would like to thank you all for your patience during what has been a challenging time.
