Tuckmill Meadows

Spanning 15 acres near Shrivenham this Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) combines floodplain, reedbeds, woodlands and a flowing stream – habitat to hundreds of plant species, insects, mammals and birds.

The site is managed for Vale of White Horse District Council by Earth Trust and you can find out more on its dedicated webpage here.

In 2025 cattle were introduced as part of conservation grazing – more on our news site.
