Our waste collections are running normally. If we’re experiencing a small amount of disruption to some of our waste collection services we will keep you up to date via our social media sites.
Parking charges were re-introduced in district council car parks from Monday 8 June – you must display a ticket or have a valid online or text payment confirmation. NHS and care staff are able to park for free with a valid Covid-19 pass. Find out more on our car parks pages.
All our leisure centres in the Vale have now reopened. Due to restrictions not all facilities are available but this is being reviewed by our leisure contractors Better on a regular basis. To find out more please head to the Better website.
The outdoor pool and splash pads in Abingdon and Wantage will remain closed for the summer season due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
Our community centres and The Beacon are currently closed until further notice.
Our play areas have now reopened – visitors are being asked to follow some simple instuctions to help prevent transmitting the virus.
Some of our activities run by the Active Communities are beginning to start again, for example Nordic Walking. You will now have to book these sessions in advance. For more information please email email@example.com
We can accept email applications for some types of taxi licence but we cannot offer licensing appointments until further notice. For more information head to our taxi licensing webpage.
