Local Covid-19 alert level

The national rules and restrictions that apply to Oxfordshire, along with the rest of England have changed.

From the 12 April some rules on what you can and cannot do have changed. To find out about the roadmap and the current guidelines everyone must follow please click the button below for the government’s website.

The government are now advising that people who have been identified as clinically extremely vulnerable do not need to shield any longer. You can find out more about this new guidance via the governments website.

And remember – ‘Hands. Face. Space. Fresh Air’:

  • hands – wash your hands regularly and for 20 seconds
  • face – wear a face covering in indoor settings where social distancing may be difficult, and where you will come into contact with people you do not normally meet (except if you are exempt)
  • space – stay 2 metres apart from people you do not live with where possible, or 1 metre with extra precautions in place (such as wearing face coverings)
  • fresh air – increasing ventilation indoors and meeting up with up to six people or two households outdoors
