Folly Park, Faringdon

Folly Park can be accessed by car via the car parks at Stanford Road SN7 7AQ or Park Road SN7 7FW. There are also a number of pedestrian and cycle access routes from the adjoining housing estates.

Features

The park has a fishing lake surrounded by trees making it feel peaceful (details about fishing in the lake can be found on notice boards at the park). There are a number of meandering paths that weave through the trees and wildflower areas.

Vale of White Horse District Council manage the open grassland to encourage the wildflowers to flourish and have a skatepark by the Stanford Road entrance.

From the top of some of the pathways there are panoramic views across the Vale and towards the Berkshire Downs.

Leisure facilities

On site there is also a cricket club, tennis club, rugby club and cycle track which are not run by the council. You can contact the individual clubs for more details
