Community Infrastructure Levy

The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) is a non-negotiable levy that local authorities can choose to charge on new development in their area.  The CIL Charging Schedule was implemented on 1 November 2017.

Any application decided on or after 1 November 2017 will be liable to pay CIL, regardless of when the application was submitted.
