East Hanney Neighbourhood Plan

East Hanney Parish Council is working on creating a neighbourhood plan to influence the way their area grows and develops into the future.

What’s happening now?

Following the independent examination of the East Hanney Neighbourhood Plan, the district council has decided that the plan should proceed to referendum. The referendum will take place on Thursday 11th April.

To vote you must be registered to vote in local elections by Friday 22 March and live in the referendum area. Make sure you register to vote if you haven’t already.

If you want to vote by post, you will need to complete an application form and send it to the Electoral Registration Officer to arrive by 5pm on Monday 25 March at the address below for Abbey House or email to elections@southandvale.gov.uk. More information is available on our Vote by Post page.

If you can’t get to the polling station and don’t wish to vote by post, you may be able to vote by proxy. If you want to vote by proxy, you will need to complete an application form and send it to the Electoral Registration Officer to arrive by 5pm on Wednesday 3 April at the address below for Abbey House or email to elections@southandvale.gov.uk.
