Abbey Gardens and Abbey Meadow, Abingdon
Abbey Gardens
Abbey Gardens are near Abingdon town centre at the end of Abbey Close. The park’s postcode is OX14 3JE.
The gardens are designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument as Abingdon Abbey, which dates back to the seventh century, once stood on the site.

Abbey Meadow
Abbey Meadow is next to Abbey Gardens at the end of Abbey Close. It has a play area open all year round.
Abbey Meadow splash pad is now open for the summer season and will be turned off in September.
Abbey Meadow outdoor pool is now closed and will reopen for the summer season next year. For updates please head to the Better UK website or check out the Abbey Meadow outdoor pool Facebook page.

GLL manage the outdoor pool and splash park on behalf of the Council. When they are open if you have any queries regarding the interactive water feature please call 01235 529321 or the Leisure team at the council on 01235 422240.
Please note, the pool, play area and interactive water feature are dog-free areas.
