Abingdon Caldecott Health and Wellbeing Grant scheme – open
The Abingdon Caldecott Health and Wellbeing Grant Scheme supports community-led projects that aim to improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities for residents of the Abingdon Caldecott ward.
The scheme provides funding for local projects and activities that promote health, wellbeing, social connection, and inclusion. It also supports community groups and local partners to take action on the wider factors that affect people’s health, such as social, economic, and environmental conditions.
The application window will close at midday 19 May 2026.
How much is available and what for?
Grants of between £250 and £4,000 are available for individual constituted not-for-profit groups or organisations.
For joint applications submitted by two or more not-for-profit groups or organisations, grants of up to £7,000 are available. In these cases, the lead organisation must be a constituted group with at least three non-related members, a registered charity, or a not-for-profit company.
Who can apply?
To apply, organisations must deliver services or projects within the Abingdon Caldecott ward, or directly benefit residents of the Abingdon Caldecott ward.
Eligible applicants include:
- Constituted and un-constituted not-for-profit community or voluntary groups
- Community interest organisations
- Registered charities
- Un-constituted not-for-profit groups applying in partnership with a constituted group
- Organisations delivering community-led health and wellbeing projects that benefit residents of Abingdon Caldecott
Who is not eligible?
- Other local authorities, (for example Oxfordshire County Council) unless they are part of a collaboration with other organisations.
- Individuals.
- Profit-based businesses (private businesses).
- Political parties and lobbying groups.
- Religious bodies where the monies will be used for religious purposes or religious buildings.
- Groups whose project will not predominantly support residents in Abingdon Caldecott.
