Elections and electoral registration

The Vale’s Elections Office is responsible for organising any election within the District, including Local, General and European elections.

In the Vale local elections, where members are voted onto the District Council, are held every four years with the next elections taking place in 2011. There are no elections being held in the Vale this year (2008).

The Vale's Elections Team also maintains the Vale’s Electoral Register, which voters need to be on in order to be entitled to vote in an election.
