As part of an integrated approach to recruitment and performance management, we have introduced a competency framework called ‘Qualities and Behaviours’.  Each job has a number of key Qualities & Behaviours (Qs&Bs) which we have identified as fundamental to successful performance for each job.  You will be assessed against these Qs&Bs at recruitment stage, and if you are successful, during your career at the Vale council.
