How to apply for a job at the Council

You can apply for a job either online via Jobsgopublic or you can request an application pack by calling Human Resources on 01235 547610 and leaving a message on the answer machine.

When applying for a vacancy you will receive a job description and person specification and you are advised to read these documents carefully before completing your application.

The person specification details the skills, qualifications, experience, knowledge and abilities that are required for the position and will form the basis for our selection decisions. In your application you are advised to pay particular attention to how your experience and skills enable you to meet the criteria on the person specification.

Please complete the application form provided as we do not accept CV’s. If there is not enough space provided in any section of the form you may continue on a separate sheet.

Politically restricted posts
