Performance

The Council seeks to continually improve the services it provides. In order to do this we set aims and objectives by which our performance is monitored.

Vale Community Strategy
The Community Strategy sets out what is important to protect and improve in the Vale to enhance quality of life and maintain sustainable communities. The Vale Partnership has begun a review of the existing strategy which will be completed during 2008.

Corporate Plan 2009-12
Our Corporate Plan for 2009-12 sets out our aims and priorities for the next three years and outlines how we intend to deliver our vision for the District.

Comprehensive Area Assessment
Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA) is a national assessment regime for all councils which is carried out by the Audit Commission.

Performance Reporting 
Quarterly reports are considered by the Senior Management Team, Executive and Scrutiny Commitee.

Value for money
This offers a summary of key corporate data for the Council and a comparison of cost and performance with a number of other authorities has been prepared.
