How to complain to the Council about a noise nuisance

You can report a problem of noise nuisance to us either by:

• Filling in our online form on the right of the page
• By emailing, phoning or writing to the Environmental Protection Team – see the contact details on the right.

To help us investigate the complaint we need as much detail as possible, including:

• A description of the noise and how it affects you in your home or garden
• The dates the noise disturbs you
• The times the noise starts and then stops
• Where you think the noise is coming from.

Please note that we cannot investigate anonymous reports - if you do not include your contact details we may not be able to look into your complaint.
