Advice on housing options
The Vale of White Horse is a district that has an acute shortage of available homes with more than 2,500 people on the housing waiting list. The Vale of White Horse District Council is working hard to increase the supply of affordable homes, however this will not meet the growing demand for housing.
It is therefore important to consider the different types of housing solutions available to you to meet your housing requirements. These options depend upon three key factors:

- Your income
- How flexible you are in meeting your housing needs.
