Manor Road Memorial Park, Wantage

The park is a popular recreational area situated in Manor Road, on the southern outskirts of Wantage.

The park has a large area for informal play and also a well-equipped play area, which is enjoyed by children of all ages while their parents can sit and relax in this tranquil setting. The park also has its own car park.

There are also other activities available during the summer months including: 

  • Water feature
  • Two hard surface tennis courts 
  • Putting green 
  • A nine-hole pitch and putt course.                        

The water feature, pitch and putt, tennis and putting facilities are now closed. They will open for the May half term school holiday 2010.

Winter tennis court use 2009/2010

To allow members of the public to use the tennis courts when the facilities are closed a key can be purchased allowing access to the courts during daylight hours. The key will be valid for use from 1 October 2009 to 31 March 2010.

The key can be purchased from the Local Services Points, 1 Grove Street, Wantage during opening hours. For maps showing where the Council's offices are please see How to find our offices.
