Postal and proxy voting

If you cannot get to a polling station you can apply for a postal vote or a proxy vote, which is when you nominate someone else to vote on your behalf. Please be aware there are set cut-off dates for each election, by which time applications for postal and proxy voting must be received. Closing dates for applications relevant to a particular election will appear on this page.
