Building control

This section should help you work out if you need building regulations approval, and if so how to apply and how much it is likely to cost. There is also information about other services provided by the Vale’s Building Control Team, which includes making sure that dangerous buildings and structures are made safe and demolition work is carried out safely.

Local land charges

The Council’s Local Land Charges Team deals with requests for information about charges and restrictions affecting property and details about planning, building regulations, roads, traffic schemes and environmental matters.
