The Vale of White Horse District Council’s Community Safety Team works in partnership with Thames Valley Police, Oxfordshire County Council, Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust and other agencies to reduce crime, disorder and the fear of crime. These agencies are collectively known as the Community Safety Partnership (CSP).
The Partnership's mission:
"We will work together to sustain a community in which people feel safe and free as far as possible from crime, the fear of crime and other forms of anti social behaviour which detract from the quality of life."
The Partnership's aim:
The Community Safety Partnership Plan
The Partnership is responsible for preparing a which aims to address national and local priorities of the Vale. It details the structure of the partnership and sets out the way that we will engage with communities.
The aim of the plan, which is the fourth to be produced by the partnership, is "To work together to continue to build on the reductions in crime achieved over recent years; to support a community in which people feel safe regardless of age or ethnic background."
For further information about the Plan please see the Community Safety Partnership Plan on the right hand side.
