Community Strategy

Vale Community Strategy

The Vale Community Strategy is concerned with the economic, social and environmental well-being of the Vale.

We are currently reviewing the Community Strategy and have been asking residents of the district for their views on what priorities we should be aiming to address. We have published a draft version of the new strategy which can be downloaded from the right of the page.

We are now looking at all the comments that were made during the public consultation and plan to publish a final version of the new strategy in the autumn of 2008 once it has been approved by the Vale Partnership Board.

What is the Vale Partnership?

The Vale Partnership is an umbrella partnership, which brings together organisations from the private, public and voluntary sectors to develop and implement the Community Strategy. Organisations which make up the Vale Partnership are committed to working more closely with each other and with the community to achieve the priorities identified in the Community Strategy and to help deliver real improvements for the Vale’s communities.
