Assisted waste collections for elderly and disabled people

Rubbish, recycling and garden waste is normally collected from the kerbside every week. However, the Council can make special arrangements for the elderly and disabled and arrange for the refuse and recycling to be collected from within the boundary of the property. This service is only available if there is no one else in the household who is capable of putting the waste out.
