Steventon Neighbourhood Plan
What’s happening now?
Steventon Parish Council is working on a neighbourhood plan which has recently been submitted to Vale of White Horse District Council.
The publicity period on the draft Steventon plan concluded on Thursday 1 February 2024. The draft plan and comments received during the publicity period have now been submitted for independent examination.
Andrew Ashcroft has been appointed by the district council to carry out the examination. The examiner’s role is to make recommendations on the draft plan, and ultimately if the plan should proceed to referendum.
The examiner issued a Clarification Note, which sets out initial comments on the submitted development order and areas where further clarification would be helpful. The Parish Council have submitted their Response to the Clarification Note (Part 1 and Part 2)
