Octabus dial-a-ride scheme

The Octabus Dial-a-Ride service is a door-to-door service for those who are unable or find it difficult to use public transport, such as elderly or disabled people. The drivers of the vehicles are trained in both first aid and in how to help wheelchair users and those with mobility problems.

The service is available between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday and places need to be booked in advance. Travel by Octabus is free for holders of concessionary bus passes.
