The Council offers assisted travel schemes to help elderly and disabled people travel around the Vale. These schemes include a free bus pass to eligible residents and reimbursed costs for travel to and from hospitals for people on certain benefits.
The following pages give details of these schemes including information about the new national bus pass scheme, which was introduced on 1 April 2008.
