Council structure

Some key decisions of the council are made by the Cabinet. The leader of the council is Emily Smith. The council is Liberal Democrat controlled.  The council also has a Chair who attends a considerable number of events in the district during the term of office.

The council has agreed a constitution that sets out how it operates and how decisions are made.

We will also publish the link to each meeting via our Facebook and Twitter pages.
